 The
1.100 acres ranch is situated Southeast of Williams Lake, British Columbia,
on a high sunny plateau 3.900 ft above sea level. You will be surrounded
by the stunning peaks and timber of Chilcotin Mountains, the Canadian Rockies.
The ranchers immigrated
from Germany and specialize in breeding and using Tennessee Walker Horses
- one of the most smooth-gated horse breed known. These great horses carry
their riders through the untouched nature of the rugged landscape.
If you are
not ready yet for the big adventure of one of the ranch's famous pack trips
you may stay at the ranch in an relaxing atmosphere and enjoy horseback
rides in the area. Watch the mares in foal, brandings on neighboring cattle
ranches, and experience daily chores on a small ranch. You'll learn to
handle your horse and may even ride without a guide - if that's what you
like. Whatever you decide to do - you should know: horseback riding is
unlimited.
Hiking, canoeing, photography,
just relax - there are no limits to what you can do.
But the
best experience of all are the pack trips in parts of the mountains that
can be reached only on horse back - let the adventure begin! |
