The Working Cattle Ranch
is situated along a big reservoir in the rolling prairies of Saskatchewan.
The rancher breeds Black Angus cattle and invites his guests to join him
in the daily ranch chores. The ride out to the herd on their summer pasture
is long, therefore you'll take lunch with you. Somewhere in the prairie
the cowboy will make a fire and cook cowboy beans that go along with your
sandwiches.
Back at
the ranch you'll have dinner in the cook house and may spend the evening
in the cozy saloon on the ranch, with pool table, soccer table, dart and
other games to keep you and your new friends at the ranch busy.
Accommodations are duplex
cabins with private bath.
It is difficult
to describe the charm of this ranch, this guest feedback hits the mark:
guest
feedback:
I thought I already found
the perfect ranch and didn't think that any other place could impress me
much. But this ranch taught me better. After driving through plain fields
I reached a place at a lake that just makes me feel comfortable and anxious
to explore my new "home".
Every little detail of the
"camp" amazed me for it's reasoned design and exceptional realizing. I
don't know if the "Wild West" looked like this a hundred years ago but
this is how I want to enjoy it.
Thanks for showing me this
beautiful place and for a ride which had everything from landscape to cattle
work on one afternoon and a wonderful evening and great accommodations!
